The NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF AIRLINE PASSENGERS was organized in 2010 to be your voice in Washington. We advocate on behalf of our members to shape and/or change government and industry policies through the following:
We meet with congressional staff to express the concerns of our members and the need for legislative reform.
We submit requests for regulatory reform and serve on government advisory committees. We also prepare and submit reports to Congress and government agencies.
We have filed suit against the TSA and participated as Amicus Curiae in lawsuits filed against the TSA by others.
We respond to media requests, and have been interviewed on radio, television, and in print.
We ask our members for their views and concerns, and use this feedback to guide us when we serve on government committees and make recommendations to Congress and to government agencies.
We review federal and state laws, court cases, government reports, and aviation news stories that affect passengers. We consult with other groups and organizations for their perspective on current and future government policies that affect passengers.
We are organized as a 501(c)(4) organization. Accordingly, contributions to the National Association of Airline Passengers are not tax deductable.
